In the 1920s, State Highway 331 followed today's Route 184, from the Gold Star Bridge to Route 201; then northeast along Route 201 and SR 627 to Route 2. This was the original routing of Route 184, and most of it was renumbered 84 (the former 184) in 1932.

History:

In the 1920s, State Highway 334 followed today's Route 32 north of Route 190. Route 32 existed at the time, but followed present-day Route 19 instead. In 1932, Route 32 was rerouted to take over SH 334.

The modern Route 334 was commissioned in 1963.

Future:

The 2000 Valley Regional Transportion Plan calls for realigning Route 334 between Southwest Road and Fountain Lake in southern Seymour. The project would cost about $4.4 million.

History:

In the 1920s, State Highway 337 followed today's Route 162.

The streets that became modern Route 337 (Silver Sands Rd, South End Rd, and Townsend Ave.) were city-maintained until 1963, when they became part of an extended Route 142.

In 1970 or 1971, however, Route 142 was moved back to its original location (same as it is today.) The abandoned portion of Route 142, the three streets mentioned above, became unsigned secret route SR 704.

On Sept. 15, 1987, SR 704 became Route 337.
